Take the B4158 westbound from the Rhayader town clock signposted "Elan Valley"
after 1/2 mile turn right onto road signposted "Aberystwyth Mountain Road"
Within a mile turn right, up hill on Cycle Route 8.
Gwardolau Cottage driveway is 1/2 mile on the right at the sign of the red dragon!.
