Situated
in the conservation area of the upper Wye valley Gwardolau (pronounced
Gwar-dol-eye) Cottage is a self contained three bedroomed, stone built
dwelling originally part of the Georgian Farmhouse, 'Gwardolau House'
which dates back to the early 1700's
The cottage, originally the kitchen and dairy of the main house, can
comfortably sleep 5 people.
Downstairs
there is a
large well-appointed kitchen with an oil-fired Rayburn providing
cooking, hot water and central heating; an electric cooker, microwave
oven, washing machine and fridge/freezer.
The attractive sitting/dining room has exposed beams and an open fire;
and there is an adjacent cloakroom. CD/radio and DVD/video player.
Upstairs, three attactively furnished bedrooms provide double, twin and
single accommodation, and there is a bathroom with shower and toilet.
An extra bed and cot are available. Bed linen can be provided by prior
arrangement.
Fuel is included in the hiring charge.
The cottage has a walled garden and there is generous parking space.
